About Me: The winery's two partners - Yair Lerner and Shmuel Boxer - share the vision of making Barkan
Wineries a national center for wine education. They are building Israel's most comprehensive
and beautiful visitors' center at the winery at Hulda. This center will include a large
professional library, a museum, and a tasting room. It is located in the center of the barrel
aging cellars, separated only by glass from Barkan's finest wines and brandies slowly maturing
in oak. This architectural innovation and beauty will make it a must visit site for all those
involved in wine-making, for students and for wine enthusiasts from all over Israel.
